LEWIS EDWARD FARRELL
FARRELL , LEWIS EDWARD Lewis Edward Farrell of Fosterville, husband of Doris O. (Wood) Farrell, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the age of 79. Born at Chatham, he was a son of the late Robert and Sarah Ellen (O'Heron) Farrell. In addition to his wife of 59 years, he is survived by his children, Alvin Farrell (Melinda) of Woodstock, Emily Nicholson (Floyd) of Grafton, Patricia Watson of Fredericton, and Nancy English (Wilfred) of Dead Creek; grandchildren Darlene Lawrence (Derek), Darren Farrell (Jill Fox), Tony Nicholson (Michelle), and Darcy Tomah (Tony Tupper); great grandchildren Chelsey Tomah, Tristan Tomah, Kiley Nicholson, and Ryan Nicholson; sisters Joyce Fish of Fosterville and Jane Farrell of Woodstock; brothers Freeman (Jacqueline) of Fosterville, Clayton of Fosterville, Hedley (Betty) of Woodstock, Nellis of Lower Woodstock, Roland (Deborah) of Fosterville, and Maurice of Kirkland; and several nieces and nephews. Lewis was predeceased by a grandson, Troy Farrell; and by a sister, Annie Varney. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am from Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Eldon Colwell will be officiating, with interment in the Lower Fosterville Cemetery.
