PIERCY, WALLACE JAMES EWEN "MIKE" With his loving family surrounding him, Wallace James Ewen "Mike" Piercy passed away at the home of his daughter in Lincoln, NB on Tuesday, February 5th, 2008. He was 75. Born April 28th, 1932 in Geary NB, he was the son of the late Bowman and Della (Smith) Piercy and husband of the late Florence "Honey" (McDonald) Piercy whom he was married to for over 56 years. Mike was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was a businessman who operated the Esso Service Station in Lincoln for over 30 years. A member of the Lower Lincoln Baptist Church as well as the Alexandria Lodge #33, and the Luxor's Shriners Temple with the Fire Brigade. Survived by his five children, Tim Piercy (Wendy), Annette Munn (Bob), Ted Piercy (Louise), Tom Piercy (Janet) and Terry Piercy (Debbie) all of Fredericton; 13 grandchildren, Trent, Shelley, Todd, Justin, Travis, Tyler, Kayle, Michael, Katie and Karley Piercy, Sherry, Becky and Bonny Munn; four great grandsons, Cameron, Ryan, Oliver and Teigan; sister-in-law, Ruby Piercy; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by an infant daughter, Juanita; grandsons, Andrew and Tyson; brothers, Beecher and Ewart and infant brother, Phillip. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:30 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held from the Lincoln Baptist Church on Thursday, February 7th, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Harold Sparkes officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike's grandsons. Interment in the Lower Lincoln Cemetery at a later date. The family would appreciate memorials to the Shriner's Children Hospital or a charity of the donors choice.
