Murray On Saturday December 13, 2008 Agnes (McGhee) Murray passed away peacefully. Agnes was born July 2, 1922 to John and Jessie McGhee of Briercrest. She was predeceased by her husband Andrew (Mac) Murray, five brothers, William, John, Robert, Earl, and Pat; sister Margaret; and step-son Ken Murray. She also lost her dear niece and nephew Joan Duffey and Jim McGhee just three weeks apart earlier this year. Agnes led a very full life. After attending business college and working for Swift Canadian Company for a couple of years, she attended McGill University and convocated as a physiotherapist. After working at the Union Hospital for a term, she ran her private practice "Moose Jaw Physio" in the Scott Block until retiring in 1978 when she married Mac Murray. Aggie and Mac enjoyed their years together, building a winter home in Arizona. She loved curling, golfing, travelling, and spending time with family and friends. She always enjoyed cheering her favourite sports teams, the Riders and Blue Jays. Aggie will be lovingly remembered by her twin sister Isabelle Jaffary of Lacombe, AB; step-son Don (Bev) Murray and family Andrew (Amber), Elizabeth, and great-grandson Cole; step-daughter Caron Murray and family Clayton and Heather Stanchfield and grandchildren Scott and Leanne Murray and their mother Emilie; sisters-in-law Kathy McGhee, Dorothy McGhee and Ruth (Jim) Zoorkan; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Her wonderful sense of humour and positive outlook on life will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love her. A Celebration of Aggie's life will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Friday December 19, 2008 at 1:30 pm. Della Ferguson will officiate. Memorialization will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Memorials to the Moose Jaw Health Foundation, or to a charity of choice, would be appreciated. In living memory of Aggie, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home. Gerry Mitchell Funeral Director Graham Dorothy Janet Graham passed away peacefully on November 29, 2008 in Moose Jaw. Janet and her sister, Margaret were born on September 20, 1929 to Andrew and Isabel Graham. The family lived in the Log Valley district. Janet received her diploma in agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan. Her farm and knowledge of plants were great sources of fun and learning for many a young child who happened by for a visit. She was never to busy to stop and answer a question or have a cup of tea. When Margaret bought a house in Central Butte, Janet and her dad made it their winter home. This later became her permanent residence. She was active in the UCW and the Arts Council and entered many items in the Butte fair. Janet was always willing to volunteer for a worthy cause or a neighbor in need. She moved into Regency Manor and then on to Moose Jaw. She was predeceased by her mother, father, and sister. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
