KENNETH EDGAR COBURN

COBURN, KENNETH EDGAR Kenneth Edgar died suddenly at home, on January 20, 2009. Born October 4, 1954 in Harvey Station, he was the son of the late Jack and Avis (McLeod) Coburn. He was employed for 34 years with the Department of Transportation. He also loved Guiding at Sunset View Lodge. He loved plowing snow and just being outside or in the garage bagging up kindling. No matter what Kenny did or where he went, he always made friends. Kenny is survived by his wife; Susan, of 35 years, sons; Freddie (Amanda) of Nasonworth, Jeremy (Elicia) of Harvey, grandson; William Coburn and his mother Dawn Knowlton of McAdam, three brothers; Allister (Amy) of McAdam, Laurie (Mary Jane) and Gordon (Samantha) both of Harvey, two sisters; Myrna Brown (Larry) of Harvey and Darlene Wright (Danny Savoy) of Blacks Harbour, several nieces and nephews and his very faithful companion Frasier. In addition to his parents, Kenny was predeceased by one son; David and one brother; Robert. There will be visitation at St. Paul's United Church, McAdam on Thursday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 24th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's United Church, McAdam, NB, with Rev. Ellen Beairsto officiating. Interment at Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB. Honorary pallbearers will be Elmo McIntosh, Mark Hallett, Brent Hallett, Fred Wilson, Dwight Kerr, Norman Clouston and Terry Braun. Active pallbearers will be Tony Gain, Dale Briggs, Gary Williams, Ken Carmichael, Paul Grant and Greg Hood.
