PIERCE, MARIE ANGELA - Mrs. Marie Angela Pierce of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, Red Deer, Alberta of Sunday, February 23, 2003 at the age of 74 years. Marie was born on January 31, 1929 at St. John, New Brunswick. Marie was a wonderful and lovely lady with a kind and generous heart. For many years, she was a very involved and long standing member of The Golden Circle in Red Deer. Marie was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who loved and knew her. She will be dearly missed by her loving family; son, Tom and his wife, Helen Pierce of Red Deer, two sisters; Rosemary and her husband, Harold Sharpe of Red Deer and Barbara and her husband, Jerry McCarthy of Hamilton, Ontario, sister-in-law, Ruth Murphy of St. John New Brunswick, sister-in-law, Ceinwen Jackman of Nanton, Alberta, brother-in-law, Trevor Pierce of Calgary, Alberta, Sister-in-law, Lou-Ann and her husband, Tom Sweet of Winfield, Alberta, brother-in-law, Bill Martin of High Level, Alberta, five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Nancy, Erin, Philip and Ryan, as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and friends. Marie was predeceased by her husband, Tom in 2000 and son, Rob in 1987. A Celebration of Marie's Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, February 28, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. with Leanne V. Hall officiating.
