BURKE, DEBBIE - The death of Debbie Burke of 106 Glen Road, wife of Wayne Burke occurred on March 2, 2003 at her home. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of Eldon Clyde Waddell and the late Edna Mary (Jackson) Waddell. She is survived by her two sons Greg (Sandy) Burke of Moncton and Kevin (Michelle) Burke of Fredericton; brother Clyde (Darlene) Waddell and sisters Janet (Bob) Palmer and Carol (Brian) Beckingham all of Saint John; granddaughters Courtney, Jillian, Madison, Shyanne and Gracie. Debbie's genuine love for her family, friends and animals touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. Debbie will be sadly missed by her family and all who were blessed to have known her. She was predeceased by her mother Edna in 1984. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424), with visitation on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Ann's Church, Simpson Drive, on Thursday March 6, 2003 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations made to the charity of the donor's choice.
