BROWN, CHARLES BERNARD - 79, died at home in Quispamsis surrounded by his family on April 04, 2003. Bernie is the son of the late Edgar Brown and Jean Isabel Close and was a lifelong resident of Saint John. He is survived by his wife Kathleen, his three children Dana (Rita), Diane (Ted), Dale (Sharon) and 6 grandchildren. Bernie was predeceased by his brother Edgar (Buster) and his sister Felicia Spinney. He was retired from Stewart McKelvey Sterling Scales. Bernie loved his family, his music and he loved to dance. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday 3-5pm & 7-9pm at Castle "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home in Rothesay (849-1702). Funeral service will be held at 10am Wednesday at Saint Mark's Church in Quispamsis with a reception following mass in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or the Alzheimer Society of Saint John.
