WALSH, GERTRUDE ROSELLA - The death of Gertrude Walsh occurred at Lincourt Manor Nursing Home on April 17, 2003. Born in New Maryland, NB December 27, 1898, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Haney) Higgins. Predeceased by husband Ambrose Walsh; son Gerald Walsh; daughter Margaret Walsh. Survived by one daughter; Anne Marie (Clayton) Perrin of St. Stephen, NB; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren several nieces and nephews. Resting at MacDonald Select Community Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral will be held 10am on Tuesday from Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Paul Riley officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at Rockland cemetery .
