MacDONALD, ALICE R. - The death of Mrs. Alice Ruth (Currie) MacDonald, of Bayswater, NB, wife of Doug MacDonald, occurred on Sunday, May 4, 2003 at her residence. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Lilly (Ricketts) Currie. Alice is survived by her husband, Doug, her four children, Carol MacDonald of Victoria, BC, Sharon Douglene (Cyril) of Nanaimo, BC, Barry of Burnaby, BC, and Glendon of Vernon, BC, six grandchildren, and ?ten great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Roberta Hunter. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424, with visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2003 at 1:00 PM from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Spruce Hill Cemetery, Bayswater, NB.
