TRYNOR, G. HOWARD ALLAN - 37, Timberlea, NS passed away as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Saturday, May 10, 2003. Howard was born in St. John's Newfoundland and moved with his family to Halifax at the age of four. He graduated from Halifax West High School in 1984, and from St. Mary's University with a B.A. in 1987. He also studied Cartography and Geographic Information Systems at the College of Geographic Sciences, Lawrencetown, NS. In 1999 he received a Master of Urban and Rural Planning degree, Dalhousie / Daltech University (TUNS). During his career he worked for a number of Environmental and Information Technology firms. At the time of his death he was employed by the Department of Natural Resources / Provincial Crown Lands Record Center. Howard was the beloved husband of Krista Mary (Melanson) Trynor and the proud and loving father of Emma Mary Trynor who will be one year old on May 28th. He will be sadly missed by his parents Richard and Maxine Trynor, his sisters Cindy (Derek Hull) Trynor of Toronto, and Amy Trynor of Calgary, his grandmother, Florence Trynor, Halifax, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Allen B. and Toni Melanson, Halifax and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Brent (Shelly) Melanson, Jane (Paul) Davies, Michele (John) Spears, and Kim (Bob) MacKinley, by six nieces and three nephews, by his uncles and aunts, Howard and Ruth Pearn, Saint John, NB, Greg and Jeanette Booth, Halifax, and Ross Weeks, Dartmouth and by numerous cousins. Visitation will be held at Snow's Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 13, from 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Fairview United Church, 3524 Dutch Village Road on Wednesday, May 14 at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Emma Mary Trynor Education Trust Fund. Cheques should be made out to Emma Trynor in Trust, and mailed to Jane Davies, 50 Nightingale Drive, Halifax, NS, B3M 1V4.
