HASSENCAHL, ARTHUR - The death of Arthur Hassencahl of Tobique First Nation, occurred on May 26, 2003 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital at the age of 59. Born in Dexter Township, Michigan. He is survived by his wife Diane (Francis) Hassencahl; mother Mildred Hassencahl of Virginia; one daughter Amy (Jason) Moulton of Tobique; three sons Arthur Jr. (Linda Roberts) of Scarborough, Me., Robert (Mona Perley) of Tobique and Steven (Melissa Bowling) of South Portland, Me.; four grandchildren; one sister Dr. Frances Hassencahl (Alan Spiegel) of Virginia; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at his residence, 34 Reservoir Road, Tobique First Nation with visiting hours from noon Tuesday May 27, 2003 until time of service. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday May 29, 2003 at 11 AM from St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church with Father Curtis Sappier officiating. Interment in St. Ann's Cemetery.
