ASSELSTINE, ALFRED - Alfred Asselstine, Sussex, passed away on June 17, 2003 at the age of 62. He was the son of the late John and Edwina (McLeod) Asselstine. Alfred is survived by his wife Judy (Prosser), his daughter, Carol Allen (Earl), three step-daughters, Connie McDermott (Paul), Debbie May (Clarence), Cheryl Brown (Andrew), his son, Kirk Sawler (Asselstine), two step-sons, Jim McGrath (Brenda), Ernie McGrath (Jessica), four brothers, John Asselstine, Bill Asselstine (Edna), Bob Asselstine (Gail), Charlie Asselstine (Kim), his sister, Dawn Healey, 11 grandchildren, one great grandson, several nieces and nephews. Alfred was predeceased by his sister, Eleanor Tremblet. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Wednesday 7-9.
