McGANN, VERNA MADELINE - Verna McGann of Grafton, NB passed away at Carleton Manor in Woodstock on Wednesday, December 17, 2003, at the age of 84. She is survived by one son Malcolm (Madeline) McGann of Woodstock; one sister Gwendolyne (Basil) Belyea of Grafton; three grandchildren Sheri McGann of Woodstock; Heather (Jim) McHatten of Woodstock; Stephanie (Aaron) Bubar of Hartland; seven great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madison, Morgan, Kylie, Kamryn, Keegan and Matthew; several nieces and nephews. Verna was predeceased by her husband Charles McGann; her parents, Perry and Vita Thornton; two brothers Guy Thornton, and Lorne Thornton, one sister Glenna McLaughlin. Resting at The Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 2 pm from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Eric Mackinnon will be officiating, with interment in the Grafton Cemetery at a later date. www.scottfh.com
