Douglas Cornelius Gould AMHERST - Douglas Cornelius Gould age 77, of Amherst passed away Monday, January 29, 2007 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, Upper Nappan, N.S. Born in Amherst, he was a son of the late Bowden and Charlotte (Ibbitson) Gould. He worked as a Chef in his younger days and in later years as a carpenter. Doug is survived by one sister Helen (Basil) Taylor of Amherst, sister-in-law Betty Gould and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Hazel Maxwell, Gladys Eliott and Anita Myette and four brothers Harold, William, Charlie and Bobby. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 11 a.m. from Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst. Interment will take place in the spring in the St. Charles - Nativity Cemetery.
