HENDERSON, KAREN - The death of Karen Elaine (Keirstead) Henderson, loving wife of John Henderson of Grand Bay-Westfield occurred unexpectedly on Saturday January 27, 2007. Born 1963 she was the daughter of Fred and Marilyn (Kyle) Keirstead. Karen graduated from Saint John Vocational School in 1982, and was a former member of the Rodney Sea Cadets, playing the Trumpet in the band. She was employed with Xerox. Karen enjoyed camping at Oak Point with her family. Besides her loving husband John, and parents she is survived by her children, Matthew and Taylor at home; sisters, Margo Keirstead of Toronto, Kathy Walton (Robert) of Saint John and Joanne Beaulieu of Moncton; nieces and nephews Victoria and Christopher Beaulieu and Kara and Kyle Walton; several cousins and many friends. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday January 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Following cremation a private family interment will take place at a later date.
