BEST, DONALD ARTHUR - After a lengthy battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald "Donny" Arthur Best, which occurred on November 27, 2008, in the comforts of his home in Sundre, Alberta. Born in Saint John, NB on August 4, 1952, he was a son of the late Harold and Marion (Carson) Best. Donny lived most of his life in Saint John, but spent the last three years, loved and cared for by his sister, Linda (Best) Morton and Glen Verner of Sundre. He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Brent) Hefferton of Rothesay, NB and Heather (Mark) Atcheson of Grand Bay, NB; one grandson, Jacob Atcheson of Grand Bay; four brothers, James, Stephen, Ralph and Mark; two sisters, Linda and Karen; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Wayne and a sister, Sharon. Visitation will be held at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 on a date to be announced later.
