MAILLET, MARGUERITE JOAN - age 76 of Saint John West, passed away on June 1, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Dorothy Joan (Burns) Delaney and Richard Delaney. In her younger years she was employed by Irving Oil and Connor Brothers, Saint John. Marg was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Laurie Joseph Maillet, son, Kevin Michael Maillet and his wife Sue Ross-Maillet. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by, infant daughter, Karen, aunts, Molly Burns, Saint John; and sister Emily Burns, Portland, Maine. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John West (634-1701) visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. A mass of Christian burial will take place 12 noon, Friday, June 5, 2009, from Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
