Cecilia Bernard Fort Folly First Nation - The death of Cecilia Bernard, age 70, of Fort Folly First Nation, occurred at the Moncton City Hospital on Wednesday, December 3, 2003. Born in Burnt Church, NB, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Louise (Joe) Denny. Cecilia was a member of Saint Vincent's Catholic Church and was the Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Officer for the Fort Folly First Nation for nine years. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Alvin of Fort Folly First Nation; five children, Millie Paul, Old Town, Maine, Darrell Paul, Oromocto, Patti Paul-Aucoin, Fort Folly First Nation, John Paul, Fredericton, Sharon PaulSapiel, Old Town, Maine; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her step children, Dianne, Regina, SK and Sandra, Edmonton, AB, David, Hamilton, ON and Robert of Toronto, ON; one brother, George Denny, Burnt Church, NB and one sister, Monica Ginnish, Kingsclear Reserve, NB. She was predeceased by her first husband, Willard Paul; a son, Vernon; two sisters, Angela and Mary. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St, Sackville, NB, (364-1300) with visitation Friday from 10 to 12 noon. and from 2 pm till the time of departure for the funeral mass at St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church, Sackville at 4 pm, Rev. Father Alban Thibodeau officiating. Following cremation, burial will be held at Beaumont Cemetery, Beaumont, NB in the spring. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
