Norman Percy Crossman
Norman Percy Crossman 1919 - 2004 Norman Percy Crossman, 84, formerly of Dewitt Ave, Moncton, passed away at the K. E. Spencer Memorial Home on Monday, January 12, 2004. Born in Moncton, NB on September 2, 1919, he was the son of the late Albert and Florence (Phinney) Crossman. He had been employed as a heavy vehicle mechanic with No. 5 Supply Depot, CFB Moncton, prior to his retirement. A veteran of the second world war, he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 6 in Moncton. He is survived by sons, Gary (Dorothy) of Turtle Creek, David (Janet) of Dawson Settlement; grandsons, Douglas (Lynn) of Bowmanville ON, Alan (LeeAnne Glasner) of Kingston, ON, David of Riverview, Darren Murray (Tammy) of Moncton; granddaughters, Lana (David Stevenson), Alayne of Ottawa ON, Paula (Memo Bonanni) of Pheonix AZ; Verna of St. Stephen, Angela of Moncton, Darla (Marty Herring) of Riverview. Special friend and great niece Flossie Cory of Moncton; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his former wife Verna (Tingley); two sons Cecil and Reginald (Jean); great granddaughter Sharon; brother Willard; and sisters, Helen, Flossie and Hazel. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am with Rev. John Holt officiating. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 will be holding a prayer service in the chapel at 10:50am, prior to the service. Interment will be in Wesleyan Union Cemetery in the spring.
