Reta Marie Garland 1912 - 2004 Reta Garland of Lakeview Manor, Riverview, passed away peacefully at her residence, on Monday, August 2, 2004 at the age of 92. Born June 26, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Sydney and Georgie (Walters) McQuinn. She was retired from Garland's Hardware Ltd., and was a member of Highfield United Baptist Church. In the church, she was a member of the Young at Heart and the Sunshine Class. She is survived by her son, Dale Garland (Joan); three grandchildren, Judy Gillcash (Danny), Susan Fowler and David Garland (Cecile); five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Gorham H. Garland in 1987. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home 171 Lutz St., Moncton with visitation from 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 4, 2004 until time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jonathan Steepet and Rev. Ernest Sperring officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
