Helen S. Jardine 1921-2007 MIRAMICHI, NB - Helen Sadie Jardine, widow of the late Eldon Jardine, of the South Napan Road, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Thursday, May 10, 2007, at the age of 85. Born in Upper Napan, on October 9, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Susan (Murdock) Dickson. She was a dedicated and loving homemaker and mother to sixteen children and an adherent of Carmel United Church, Napan. She is survived by 10 daughters, Edna Whitten (Bill), of Moncton, Shirley MacDonald (Vern), of Fredericton, Lylla Adams (Art), of Napan, Thelma Carroll (Blair), of Miramichi, Rhoda Conroy (Donald), of Glenwood, Glenna Chiasson (John), of Moncton, Muriel Taylor (Rick), of Moncton, Cheryl Chiasson (Emmanuel), of Miramichi, Heather Godfrey (Eric), of Miramichi, Kim Thibodeau (Vince), of Escuminac; five sons, Elmer Jardine (Dorenda), of Miramichi, Frank Jardine, Perley Jardine (Debbie), Tom Jardine, Randy Jardine (Debbie), all of Napan; 31 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Eldon in 1992; one son, Leigh Jardine; one granddaughter, Leah Whitten; two sisters, Stella McIntosh and Marjorie Taylor; two brothers, James and Norman Dickson. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, Miramichi, on Saturday evening, from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, May 14, 2007, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. David Cleveland, assisted by Rev. Brent MacDonald. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Palliative Care Unit of the Miramichi Regional Hospital, or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
