Chester Wheaton WHEATON SETTLEMENT, NB - Chester Havelock Wheaton, 84, of Wheaton Settlement passed away Saturday, November 3, 2007 at home. Born in Wheaton Settlement he was a son of the late Fred and Stella (Geldart) Wheaton. Chester worked for many years at the former Lounsbury's Furniture in Petitcodiac and retired from the Department of Transportation. He attended the Wheaton Settlement Baptist Church and was an honorary director of the Wheaton Settlement Cemetery. He was a member and Past Master of the Steven Lodge No. 37 F&AM, Petitcodiac, a member of the Shrinners and the Ivanhoe and Walton York Rite. He was also a member of the Frank H. Tingley Chapter of the Eastern Star. Survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Alice (nee Jones); daughters, Brenda Armstrong (Wayne) of Petitcodiac, Barbara MacCallum (Ivan) of Rockyford A.B., Sandra Wheaton (Victor Cox) of Intervale; grandchildren, Pam Eleniak, Dani Wheaton, Becki Wheaton and Peter MacCallum; great grandchildren, Alicen, Sheldon, Blake and Cameron; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his twin brother, Lester; and a brother, Elmer. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) where members of the Steven Lodge will conduct a service on Monday at 6:45 p.m. Public visitation will follow from 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, November 6 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Lloyd O'Blenes officiating.
