Lina Collette (Caissie) 1919 - 2007 Lina Collette (Caissie), 88, of Moncton, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on December 13, 2007 after a lengthy illness. Born in St-Norbert on May 20, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Louis Caissie and late Elise Maillet. Lina was a member of the Notre-Dame de la Paix Moncton. She is survived by her daughters, Lucille Collette (Pierre Arsenault), Jacqueline Collette (Jaques Nowlan) Moncton, Janice Collette (Michel Fortin) Gatineau, Que.; one daughter-in-law, Lucille Haché, Beresford; four sons, Jean-Paul Collette (Rose-Mai), Yvon Collette (Claudette), both from Cocagne; Ronald Collette (Monique LeBlanc), Moncton, Laurie Collette (Linda Bourgeois), Dieppe; three sisters, Thérèse Savoie (Feu Léo-Paul), Toronto, Stella LeBlanc (Ulysse), Ste Marie-de-Kent, Noëlla Maillet (Feu Léo), Ste-Marie-de-Kent; four sisters-in-law, Imelda Caissie, Oromocto NB, Dorice Caissie, Waltham Mass, Bernadette Caissie, St-Antoine, Claudette Staniforth, Moncton; two brothers, Aquilla Caissie (Feu Aline), St-John, NB, Gerard Caissie (Geralda) Richibouctou; eleven grandchildren, Brigitte, Angele, Tina, Michel, Cindie, Mathieu, Veronique, Mylene, Mathieu, Catherine, Gabriel; three great grandchildren, Camille, Darnia, Emilie. She was predeceased by her husband, the late Gerard Collette (2005); two sons, infant Jean (1947) and Claude (1999); four brothers, Alcide, Lionel, Emile, and Laurie. Resting at the Ste-Anne-de-Kent Roman Catholic Church slumber room with visiting hours on Monday, December 17, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Tuesday, December 18, from 2 pm until time of the funeral. The funeral service will be held in the Ste-Anne-de-Kent Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 4pm. Interment in Parish Cemetery at a later date. If so desired, donations in Line's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or donor's choice, would be appreciated. Following the funeral mass, the family will be meeting with relatives and friends in the parish hall for further sharing of memories and refreshments.
