Lester Hastings MacGregor Higgins 1925 - 2008 Lester Hastings MacGregor Higgins of Riverglade passed away at the Jordan Lifecare Center on Sunday, January 20th, 2008 at the age of 82 years. Born in Moncton, NB on August 8th, 1925, he was the son of the late Lester Hastings James and Florence Isabel (Pyne) Higgins. Lester was a retired manager of Real Estate in the Moncton area. He was a member of St. Martins in the Wood Anglican Church. He is survived by his son, Alan Cameron Higgins and his wife Bluette of Elgin, NB; sister-in-law, Alice Peters of Riverview; cousins, Jacqueline Wilson and Marlene Smith, both of Moncton; various nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Jean Cameron (Peters) Higgins in 1989; son Lester Hastings Edward Higgins in 2003. There will be no viewing, visitation, or funeral service. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring. Donations made to The Jordan Life Care Center would be appreciated by his family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
