Keith W. (Pud) Gilliss 1947 - 2009 Miramichi - Keith William (Pud) Gilliss, husband of Shirley Gilliss, of the Point Aux Carr Road, Napan, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Thursday, April 9th, 2009, at the age of 61. Born in Chatham, on Aug 7th, 1947, he was the son of the late Erwin and Linda (McLenaghan) Gilliss. He was a self employed broker working mostly with Maritime Ontario Transport for many years. He was an adherent of Carmel United Church, Napan. He is survived by his wife, the former Shirley Fournier; two sons, Keith Gilliss Jr. (Selima) of Napan and Mike Gilliss (Shirley) of Oshawa, Ont; four step daughters, Kimberly Collins of Vancouver, Sandra Collins of Oshawa Ont; Janet Collins of Mindon, Ont; Dee Dee Collins of Scarborough, Ont; four grandchildren; twelve step grandchildren; four sisters, Judy MacDonald (Donnie) of Miramichi Bay, Debbie Gilliss of Bay du Vin, Kathy MacDonald (Avard) of Point Aux Carr, Winnifred Savage of Point Aux Carr; seven brothers, Dave Gilliss of Ont; Stephen Gilliss (Christine) of Miramichi, Kenny Gilliss of Bay du Vin, Randy Gilliss (Dorothy) of Calgary, Alta., Terry Gilliss (Tina), of Point Aux Carr, Douglas Gilliss, of Ontario, Reggie Gilliss (Mary Lou), of Wellfield; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and one nephew, Cory MacDonald. By request, private family visiting only at the funeral home and no flowers by request. The public are invited to a funeral service to be held from Carmel United Church, Napan, on Monday, April 13th, 2009 at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. David Cleveland. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery, later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
