William "Bill" E. Sherwood 1936 - 2009 William "Bill" E. Sherwood, 72, of Berry Mills, passed away suddenly at home on Monday, June 8, 2009 after a brief illness. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Warren and Zella (Johnson) Sherwood. A graduate of Moncton High School and Oulton's College, Bill was employed with Eaton's, White Rose (Shell) and Lennox/Imbrex Cassidy/Centura where he became Credit Manager. Bill was a long time member of Berry Mills Baptist Church, where he was a Deacon and treasurer for many years. In his spare time, Bill kept ponies for 35 years and enjoyed attending horse shows and agricultural fairs. After his retirement, Bill spent more time on his hobby farm, cutting his own firewood and growing a garden large enough to feed family, friends and neighbors. Bill will be sadly missed by his wife of 45 years, Eleanor (Burlock); daughters, JoAnn Alberstat (Mark), Dartmouth, NS, Jennifer Boutilier (Richard), Lawrencetown, NS; son, Todd (Amanda), Saint John; grandchildren, Becka, Warren, Amelia; special aunt, Minnie Steeves, Moncton; several nieces and nephews.
