BANNISTER, HILDA J. - Hilda J. Bannister, 96, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, June 22nd, 2009. Born in Prosser Brook, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Pearl (Prosser) Murray. Hilda was a former employee of the Moncton Hospital with 17 years service; member of First Baptist Church, Moncton; former member of the Moncton Legion Branch #6 Ladies Auxiliary and former member of the Moncton Lions Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed bowling, doing crossword puzzles and working with the elderly and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Hilda will be sadly missed by her daughters, Etta Trites (Oram), Mississauga, ON, Lillian Bannister, Berry Mills; sons, Eugene (Anna Joyce), Pine Glen, Clarence (Myrtle), Riverview; 29 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; 46 great great grandchildren; sisters, Wilda Bannister (King), Hillside, Reta Good (Raymond), Berry Mills; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Donald Bannister (1988); son, Oakley (1938); brothers, Bill and Lewis; sisters, Daisy, Rena, Lillian, Eldora, Bernice.
