Passed peacefully away at her residence on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, Maud Parsons, aged 85 years. Predeceased by her husband Gorden; son George, daughter Faith; parents Cyril and Hazel Coffin; sisters Winnifred and Mary; brothers: Angus, Alec and Wayne. Leaving to mourn sons: Perry (Christina) and Gorden (Lorraine); grandchildren: Belinda (Jim), Gerald, Kelly (Bradley), Kenneth (Donna); great-grandchildren: Brandi, Bryan, Annie, Austen and Daniel; great-great-grandchild Tia; brothers; Boyd, Kelson (Mildred), Winston (Shirley), Hazen (Mary), Glen (Violet) and Wade; sisters: Ruth, Lorna and Lois; sisters-in-law: Elizabeth Coffin and Dorothy Parsons; brother-in-law Ern Benson, also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 2nd. Funeral service to take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2009 from Church of the Ascension, Smallwood Drive. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
