Who passed away on April 4th, 2009
MACDONALD – Mr. Bob William MacDonald, late of Prince Albert, passed away suddenly and peacefully at home on Saturday, April 4th, 2009. Robert was born February 7th, 1931 in Red Deer Hill where he resided. He later moved to Prince Albert and married Marcia Selander. He worked for approximately 22 years at Burns Foods then successfully owned and operated (with his wife) – MacDonald’s Trucking until his retirement. During his retirement he often drove taxi. Mr. MacDonald was very much an outdoorsman enjoying such activities as hunting, golfing and fishing. Mr. MacDonald is survived by his children Terry (Phyllis) of Saskatoon, Brenda (Kevin) of Prince Albert, Dwayne of Saskatoon, Bev (Yvon) Hotte of Prince Albert, Brent (Jeanne) of Prince Albert, Ione (Curtis) Forsberg of Prince Albert – and his grandchildren Christa (Sheldon) Kennedy of Spruce Home, Brad Kennedy of Prince Albert, Jaden, Matthew & Sheridan of Prince Albert. Brian (Crystal) of Prince Albert, Savannah (Shane) Hotte of Shellbrook and Joshua Hotte of Prince Albert - great grandchildren Logan, Austin & Taylor of Spruce Home; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; his long time friend Guy (Joanne) Kennedy and special friend Debbie. He was predeceased by his wife Marcia MacDonald, infant son Ricky, his parents Ross & Winnifred, his in laws Walter & Margaret Selander and his one and only brother, Roy (Elsie). Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of SK, 279 – 3rd Avenue N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray's Funeral Chapel, Lorne Adams, Funeral Director.
