The death of Simon George Petitpas occurred Tuesday, April 13th, 2010, at his home in Minto, NB. Born in St. Sosime, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lydia (LeBlanc) Petitpas.
Simon is survived by his companion Jean Maston; daughters Linda Mills, and Lorraine (Ted) Arnold of Minto; a sister Della LeBlanc of Rogersville; grandchildren Donnie Mills, Jennifer (Nick) Morris, Erin Arnold, and Christopher Arnold; great grandchildren Connor Arnold and Coleson Morris; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Simon is predeceased by his wife Flora (Williams); sons Alva and William; a daughter Mary and her husband David Mowat; granddaughter Wendy Mills and her father Donnie Mills; brothers Aldric, Emery, Gerald, Armand, Norman and Albert; and a sister Bertha.
Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. A Funeral Mass will take place at 1 PM on Friday, April 16th, 2010 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Saint Bridget's Cemetery.
