Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, Evelyn W. Davis of Harbour Grace, age 83 years. Predeceased by husband Otto and brother Walter. Leaving to mourn two brothers: Edward (Carrie) Spurrell and George (Ethel) Spurrell, both of Harbour Grace South; four sisters: Effie Vokey and Doris Vokey, both of Spaniard's Bay, Hazel Warren, Chapel Arm and Betty Slade, Salmon Cove; sister-in-law Shirley Spurrell, Harbour Grace South; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Nœl's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Thursday, May 6 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Friday, May 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Friday, May 7th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
