The death of Lila Arleen Humphrey, age 86, of Norton, NB, occurred at her residence, on Saturday, May 15, 2010. She was the wife of the late Arthur H. Humphrey. She was born at Kiersteadville, NB, on October 16, 1923, the daughter of the late Hazen and Emily (Spragg) Sprague. Lila is survived by her sisters-in-law Verna Sprague of Kiersteadville, Reta Mercer of Norton, and Laura and Tom Anderson of Newtown; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Geneva Sprague; and brother Everett Sprague.
Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home & Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 21, 2010.
