In her 93rd year. A lady in the true sense; beautiful in spirit and being.
Emily is predeceased by her best friend and husband Ronald. Emily will be dearly missed by many, but especially as "Mom" by daughter Pat Taurasi, and son-in-law Mario; "Nana" by her four grandchildren, Mike Swanick (Dominique), Steve Swanick (Julie), Leah Hatfield (Jason) and Andrea Wood (Jamie); and "Gigi" by her 11 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her many friends and extended family.
Emily is predeceased by daughter, Carolyn Swanick; siblings, Mabel, Ivy, Winifred, Audrey, Sidney and Bill and their parents.
A special thank you to the wonderful staff on 3NorthB at RVH in Barrie. Your loving attention to Emily during her stay will always be remembered.
Our hearts and minds are filled with beautiful memories of the time we were given to share with this special lady.
At Emily's request, a private family service will be held. We will honour her life and celebrate her spirit through a butterfly release at the graveside.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice Simcoe Barrie, Ontario.
