After a lengthy illness, Claude Jean-Guy Ringuette passed away at home on June 9th, 2010. Born January 29th, 1978, he is survived by his wife, Paula; his parents Jean-Guy (Pete) and Wanda Ringuette of Haneytown; brothers, Daniel (Cherri) Ringuette of Burton, Marcel Ringuette of Haneytown, Philip (Tanya) Rogers of Medicine Hat, AB and sister Nicole Longhurst (Jason) of Oshawa, Ont. He is also survived by Grandmother Jeannine Morin of Montreal, QC, Grandfather Alan Merrett of Geary, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends and his two dogs Harley and Emily. He is predeceased by his Grandfather Adrien Ringuette, Grandmother Margaret Merrett, and Grandfather Maurice Justason. Claude had been a licensed plumber since 2003 and worked for many local companies in the Fredericton and Oromocto area before establishing his own company, CPR Plumbing and Heating Ltd. in 2006. He was a very outgoing person who loved anything that had to do with being outdoors, whether it was fishing or hunting, to camping and boating with his many friends and family.
Visitation will take place at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Friday, June 11th, 2010 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 pm. A memorial mass will take place at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Saturday, June 12th, 2010 at 11:00 am. Father Ken Weir will be officiating.
