KELSEY, Elizabeth S. (nee Powell) (Libby Lang)­ Passed away at Carbonear General Hospital on October 1, 2008 at age 71 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband John Kelsey, parents Clarence and Elsie Powell, brother Clarence Powell, brother-in-law Ross Montgomery and sisters-in-law Beverly Powell, Rachael Aukland and Carrie Burden. Leaving to mourn a large circle of family and friends, children: Chris Lang (DenisernHolloway) and Steve Lang (Rosarii Power), St. John's, Mike Lang of Thunder Bay, Joannah Lang (Gayle MacDonald) of Fredericton, Jennifer Lang of Ottawa; grandchild Krista Baker (Mike Nicolas) of Toronto; siblings: Bert (Paula) Powell, Marilyn Montgomery (Ralph Hiscock) and George Burden; step-children: Hazel Galvanis and Elizabeth Young. Also leaving to mourn special friends: Peg Spurrell, Geraldine Murphy, Anne Chafe and special family Rebecca, Michael, Doris and Calvin Powell. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
