1935 - 2010 Zephyr Richard, 74 of Bouctouche passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, July 21st, 2010. He was married to the late Annette (Collette) Richard (2005). Born in Sainte-Anne de Kent on August 21st, 1935, he was the son of the late Fred S. and the late Anna (LeBlanc) Richard.
He was a construction framer by trade. He was a member of the Richiboucto-Gun club.
He will be sadly missed by his common-law wife Diane Bastarache, his two daughters, Cori-Ann Horton (Mathew MacDonnell) of Moncton, and Laura Richard ( Gary Berg) of Wayland, Mass. and his four grandchildren, Alex, Zack, Cameron and Tyler. He also leaves to mourn his sister Anne-Marie Donnell of Ayer, Mass, and two brothers, Bertin (Alfreda) of Ayer, Mass, Sylvio (Patricia) Malboro, Mass and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one sister, Lorraine (2005) and one brother Fernand (2005).
Visitation will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Sunday, July 25th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Monday from 1 to 2:15 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010 at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche at 2:30 pm. Internment will be in the parish cemetery.
In Zephyr's memory donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
