July 13, 1919 - June 23, 2009. Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Richard William (1981), brothers Vincent (1935), Edward (1991) and sister-in-law Mildred (2008). She leaves to mourn step-children: Michael Schillemore, Donna (Andre) Lagace, Patricia Schillemore, Linda (Michael) French; grandchildren: Michel (Letitia) Lagace, Mark (Heidi) Lagace, Kyle (Carol) Martin, Ashley (Aaron Little) Martin, Matthew French; nieces and nephews: Peggy Murphy, Patricia (Randy) Reynar, Brian (Ellen) Murphy, Ed (Linda) Murphy, and John (Zita) Murphy; great-grandchildren, great-nephews and nieces and a wide circle of friends in Newfoundland and Ontario. Margaret was a devout parishioner of St. Pius X Parish, an avid card player and a fiercely independent lady. In her own words, she summed up her life: ÒI have done everything I have wanted to do. What more could you ask for? Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, with visitation on Thursday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. Pius X Church on Saturday, June 27th, at 9:30 a.m. Cremation to follow with inurnment to follow at Belvedere Cemetery. Flowers respectfully declined. Donations in Margaret's memory may be made to the St. Pius X Roof Restoration Fund or to a charity of one’s choice.
