December 12th, 1921 - January 2nd, 2011

Passed away peacefully at his home after a brief illness Lloyd G. Hussey in his 90th year. He is predeceased by his loving wife Muriel (nee Batstone) of Nippers Harbour on April 5th 1988 and by his eldest son Melvin G. Hussey and his wife Mary (nee Griffin), his brothers: John E. Hussey and his wife Roberta (nee Porter), Stephen Hussey and his wife Bernice (nee Temple), sisters: Phroene Devereaux (nee Hussey) and her late husband John Devereaux, his loving parents: James Edward Hussey (Jan. 9th, 1992) & Mary Louise (nee Earle) of Carbonear (Jan. 12th, 1977). Also his grandson Darryl White (March 17th, 2001). Left to mourn are his brother William, Margaret (nee Porter), his sisters: Mabel Temple (nee Hussey), Mildred Pye (nee Hussey), Dorothy Manion (nee Hussey), sons: Earl Lloyd, John (Rhonda), Murray, Debbie (nee Anderson), Darrell, Bradley (Kathy), daughters: Verna (Bill "Bud") White, Marina Hussey, Judy Hussey, Annette Hussey, 25 grandchildren, 3 greatgrandchildren and one great-great- grandchild as well as a large circle of friends and relatives. Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Country Haven Funeral Home.

We, the family of the late Lloyd Hussey would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, who gave their all and then some in our time of need, they went above and beyond to make our time of pain so filled with compassion and understanding. We will always be thankful for their presence; and to Compassionate Home Care, for your help in our time of need as well. Our heartfelt thanks again, we will not forget your kindness.
