Passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 28th, 2017 in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband Harold (1999). Leaving to mourn 6 children, Chris (Hannah), Brenda Picco (Bob) in Nova Scotia, Roger in Ontario, Keith (Alma), Daisy Summers (Ron), Carmel Saunders (Glen), 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren. Sisters-in-law Daisy Greeley in Boston, MA, Elsie Toope (John), brother-in-law Matthew Greeley (Gina) in Ontario, daughter-in-law Beverley Greeley in Dominican Republic. Special life time neighbour and friend, Madeline Gibbons. Several nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. The family will receive visitors at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Thursday, June1st 2017 from 2-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 2nd,2017 from the Memorial United Church, Portugal Cove at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the United Cemetery, Portugal Cove.
