HEMPSTALK, David - David Fred Hempstalk of Collingwood, formerly of Summerstown, passed away suddenly at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital on Saturday, June 3rd 2017, age 67 years. Survived by his loving wife Debbie (the bride) and his canine daughter Morgan (the pooch). Also left grieving are David's three sisters: Maureen (Tom) Fagan of Cornwall, Jean (Jack) Lawson of Lancaster and Christine (late Ray) Quann of California. Predeceased by his parents, Fred & Hilda Hempstalk. David will be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and the many friends he has made over the years. A celebration of David's life will be held on July 15, 2017 at Stokes Hall, Salem United Church, Summerstown from 1:00PM - 3:00PM. Cremation has already taken place. David's Celebration of Life will be followed by a flotilla of boats as he takes his final ride on his beloved St. Lawrence. Since tomorrow is not promised to us, you are encouraged to give that special person in your life a big hug and be forever thankful for the time you have together.
