MERIGOMISH – Ina Louise (MacKenzie) Cameron, 66, wife of Richard Cameron, Merigomish, passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 7, 2017, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Frampton and Louise (O’Connor) MacKenzie. Ina was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband, Richard; sons, Ashley (Janet), New Glasgow; Matthew (Karen), Red Deer, Alberta; 12 grandchildren; brothers, Gary (Lois), Brampton, Ont; Douglas (Melinda), New Brunswick; Valerie White (Ed), New Glasgow.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son Shane; sister Diane in infancy.
The family will receive visitors 12-1:50 p.m. Monday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Andrew S. MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in Murray’s Point Cemetery.
Donations may be made in Ina’s memory to Aberdeen Health Foundation Palliative Care Unit Endowment.
