Passed peacefully away in Lindsay, Ontario. Predeceased by his son Nicholas and stepdaughter Libby. Leaving behind with loving memories his wife Jennifer (née Dancey); daughter Margarita (Tom) Peckford; son Paul (Carolyn); stepson James (Aud) Dunphy; grandchildren: Jason (Nicole) Burggraaf, Erika (Ian) Doka, Kelly Burggraaf, Megan (Jason) Peckford-Duff and Conor Dunphy; great-grandchildren Izaac and Patrick Burggraaf, Jessica and Kelsey Doka; sister-in-law Cynthia Baker, also nieces and nephews in Ontario and family in Holland. Nick worked in Newfoundland with Lundrigans and then served as president of Lundrigans-Comstock in Ontario. Nick spent many happy years travelling with Jennifer and family. He also enjoyed trailering and boating. No flowers by request, donations can be made to a charity of one's choice. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home 328, Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 7-9 pm. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
