MUISE, Jane Frances - 73, of Wallbrook, Kings County. It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we say good bye to our dear mother, Jane Frances Muise, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 17, 2011 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, surrounded by her loving family. Born on Wallbrook Mountain, Jane was the daughter of the late Harold and Gladys (Myles) Kelly. She was a strong woman who carried great pride in herself, her late husband and her large extended family. Jane’s family was large, as was her love for each and every one of them. She is survived by her sons, Perley (Nancy) Kelly, New Minas; Don (Darlene) Muise, Coldbrook; Ricky (Sharon) Muise, Aylesford; Darryl (Terry) Muise, Wallbrook; Tim (Priyanka) Muise, Bangladesh; Harold Muise, Wallbrook; daughters, Darlene (Glen) Dykens, Wallbrook; Betty Muise, Wallbrook; Carol (Andre) Bechard, Wolfville; Julie Pinch, Wolfville; Amanda Muise, Grande Prairie, Alberta; Wendy (David) Kennedy, Wolfville; 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a special grandson, Alik Muise; brothers, Eric Kelly, Nelson Kelly , Clyde (Edie) Kelly and Ken (Viola) Kelly, all of Wallbrook; Perry Kelly, Waterville; Dale (Kathy) Kelly, Canning; sisters, Maxine (Ed) Medford, BC; Donna (George) Harvey and Iona (Wayne) Pinch, both of Wolfville; Gloria (Donald) Eisner, Waterville; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her dear husband of 52 years, Lester Joseph Muise; sisters, Charlotte (Ed) Kendrick; Diane Atwell-Kelly; grandson, Antonio Pinch. Visitation was held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception, was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011, Reverend Gary Manthorne officiated. Burial took place in the Willowbank Cemetery, Wolfville. Flowers are greatly appreciated. Donations in Jane’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Michael Patterson and Beverlee McKee who played a great part in Jane’s life, to all of the doctors and many friends and family who supported her over the years, and to dear friends Eric and Natalee Poll of Wallbrook.
