Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, October 30th, 2017, age 86 years. Emily lived a full life surrounded by love and happiness. Predeceased by her parents Mildred and Ernest Ivany, her life will be celebrated and forever remembered by her siblings Rev. Lloyd Ivany (Phyllis), Eleanor Swift (David) and Hanuel Ivany (Ivy); nephews and nieces Peter and Susan Ivany (Derek and David), Gail Swift Patrick (Jennifer, Cara, David and Ben), Randy and Rhonda Ivany (Melissa and Mark), Patsy and Harry Bartlett (Harry and Sarah), Jill and Scott Udle (Emily); special friend Wesley Martin; as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, November 1st from 2-9 pm, and Thursday, November 2nd from 10 am - 12 noon. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, November 2nd at 2 pm from Barrett's Funeral Chapel, interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
