George Henry Berger, aged 96 years of Central Butte, SK passed away on Friday, November 3rd, 2017. George was born at Central Butte and started farming with his brother Albert in 1944, and continued until his retirement in 1994. He also raised Hereford cattle. He was predeceased by his wife, Marj; brothers: Paul, Frank, and Joe; sisters: Barbara, Margaret, Katie, Eva, and Helen; and stepson, Bill Weaver. George will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Albert (Sheila); sisters: Anna and Mary; stepdaughter, Kaye (Gary); stepdaughter-in-law, Julie; as well as numerous other relatives. The Family would like to thank the staff of Iver Main for all the kindness and caring shown to George. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 9th, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Central Butte, SK. Father Hector Seville will be the presiding celebrant and interment will take place in Central Butte Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
