KELLY, Frances Madeline - 85, of Grand View Manor, Berwick, formerly of New Minas, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011 in the Manor. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Susan (Myles) Brewster. She had been employed at Hostess Foods and in the laundry department of the Nova Scotia Sanatorium. She is survived by a son, Michael (Patty), New Minas; a daughter, Veralyn, New Minas; a brother, Willis, Belleville, Ontario; a sister-in-law, Jackie Brewster; 12 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry John Kelly; a son, Thomas; a sister, Vera; a brother, Hugh; a grandchild, Danny. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. There was no visitation, by request. A private family interment was held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2011 in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Kentville. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.
