HAYES, PATRICK - Mr. Patrick Earl Hayes of St. Martin’s passed away on May 5, 2011 at the age of 79. He was the son of the late Urban and Ella (Hall) Hayes. Pat will live on in the hearts of his loving wife of 57 years, Lorena (Henderson) and his children: Warren (Nancy), Shelly Clayton (Ron) all of St. Martin's, Patrick (Ivy) of Ontario, Murray (Sandra) of Carsonville, Susan Taylor (Peter) of Quebec, Sharon and Randy (Leah) all of Calgary; 19 grandchildren: Michael (RayeAnn), Samantha (Jeff), Jessica (Brian), Allison (Rob), Marie-Line, Nick (Michelle), Katie, Ryan (Marley), Gillian, Joel (Tamryn), Zacharie, Krystal (Paul), Megan (Paul), Hannah, Dallas, Shelby, Alex, Matthew (Robin) and Derek; his great granddaughter, Kloee; five sisters: Elizabeth Monahan (Raymond), Karine Grant (Earl), Lois Cassidy (Elton); Bernice (Geoff), Marie Rideout (Wayne); three brothers: Fred (Marg), Walter (Evelyn) and Carl (Debbie); as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Pat was predeceased by his son Jim; his brothers: Jack and Don and his sister Marjorie.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). Visitation will be held from St. William’s Roman Catholic Church (2354 Rte 111, St Martins, NB) on Friday, May 6, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. William's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 12:00pm. The interment will take place at St. William's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery. Due to Allergies, the family would appreciate no flowers. If desired, donations made to the St. William’s Roman Catholic Church Building Fund, St. William’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery or to the memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
