It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Muriel Humber announce her passing on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her four daughters: Barbara Barnes, Marilyn (Kevin) Simmonds, Nadine Humber, Glynis Marche; five grandchildren: Kelli, Stephanie (Billy), Scott (Allison), Rane, Brady; dog Somer; three great-grandchildren; Mikayla, Riley, Abigail; sister Hilda Rideout as well as many other special relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Reginald Humber; parents Fred and Kate Watkins; daughter Sandra; sister Pearl; brothers: Sandy and Harold; special friend Dave White. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Stephenville Crossing on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gwen Butler officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Anglican Cemetery in Stephenville Crossing. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the All Saints Anglican Church Memorial Fund, Stephenville Crossing. A reception will follow at the Anglican Church Hall in Stephenville Crossing. Arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
