It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wilfred George Reid announce his peaceful passing at his residence surrounded by his loving family on March 5, 2018 in his 72nd year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his dear wife Anita Reid of 51 years; sons: Wilfred Jr, Robert (Sherry), Gregory (Rochelle); grandchildren: Michael, Stephen, Lindsey, Rebecca, Emma, Ryan; brothers: Louis (Madonna), Larry (Brenda), Gary, Mary St. Croix (Fintan), Mary Crocker (Jim), Barbara (Billy); furry friend patches; and also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Wilfred was predeceased by his father Edgar and mother Molly; and brother Jerry. At Wilfred’s request, cremation has taken place. Friends and family may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 7-9 pm from where the funeral service will take place at the Country Haven Chapel on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 10:30 am with Father White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Red Cross Foundation and/or the Canadian Cancer Society.
