Annie "Margaret" MacKenzie
In Memory
Annie “Margaret” MacKenzie (Boularderie & Yarmouth)

A light from our household is gone.
A voice we loved stilled.
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.
We have to mourn the loss of one
We did our best to save;
Beloved on earth remembered still
As someone so very kind and brave.
Was more than painful to part with one so dear,
We did not realize the time so near.
But God saw you getting weary,
And on that heartbreaking day
He put his arms around you
And you gently slipped away.
It shattered our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone.
A big part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
We would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to Fillmore and Whitman/Dignity Memorial, in particular, Andrew Chapman and Jennifer Tobin for their professionalism and compassion, as well as to Knox Presbyterian Church Ladies Auxiliary, Ross Ferry for their food and kindness, and to Knox Choir during that difficult time. Words cannot express how much it was appreciated.
